Job Description
The Gianna Center of Philadelphia in East Norriton, PA is looking to add a medical assistant to join their team. This office is a NaProTechnology medicine and gynecologic practice dedicated to providing compassionate, quality health care to all women.From natural family planning to menopause management, we offer expert medical care rooted in our values and vision.
We provide the following services:- Gynecologic care for women of all ages
- NaProTechnology and fertility services.
- Natural family planning with the Creighton Model
- Support for postpartum depression and anxiety
HOURS: Monday-Friday various start times 8:30 AM-4:30 PM No weekends, no major holidays. This position will require the MA to be familiar with the Creighton Model FertilityCare system
Position requirement: Completion of a medical assistant training program or commensurate experience.
At least two years of clinical experience working with patients.Ability to perform charting and notes. Experience in Athena electronic medical record is helpful.
Experience working with third-party payers for billing and coding.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Excellent problem-solving skills. Enjoys working with patients of every age, demographic, and background
Has the ability to assist with procedures such as biopsies, injections, and more
Boasts excitement at joining a growing, faith-based restorative reproductive medicine practice
Spanish speaking preferred but not required
