Overview:

Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with benefits and hourly wages ranging from $21 - $27 / hour. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.

We are looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide whom would be responsible for providing personal cares and designated health related services to enhance and/or maintain the residents’ physical and emotional well-being. Position will also pass medications with training provided.

Located at Deer Crest in Red Wing.

This caregiver position includes;

.2 FTE/ 16 Hours in two weeks, full-time schedule
Evening Shift
E/O weekend Sat-Sun rotation/holidays

Responsibilities/Job Description:

Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
Assists with onboarding of new staff

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting.
Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population
CNA certificated if under 18

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:

High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA or HHA course
