Inventory Assistant

The Inventory Clerk position has lots of room for growth.

Looking to have someone start ASAP! Need to have own transportation

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and update purchase orders in the inventory system
• Match purchase orders to the corresponding inventory items. Need to be able to lift and move boxes- so can stand and sit, without any issues.
• Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
• Track inventory levels and report any discrepancies
• Interact with suppliers for inventory-related inquiries and issues
• Unload and organize shipments received in the warehouse
• Assist in organizing the warehouse to ensure efficient location and retrieval of items
• Perform clerical duties related to inventory management
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and orderly warehouse environment
• Liaise between the office and warehouse to ensure seamless operations.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Inventory Clerk role or similar
• Proficient in clerical duties including data entry, filing and maintaining records
• Experience in shipping and receiving operations
• Knowledge of purchasing materials and inventory management
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift and move heavy items when necessary
