Job Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with strong skills in data center routing and switching to join our team.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 10 years supporting enterprise-grade routers and switches in a large data center.
- Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of OSPF and BGP.
- Skills: Experience with BGP, OSPF, STP on NXOS and IOSXE platforms.
- Design and Implementation: Ability to design, plan, test, implement, support, and troubleshoot large data center networks.
- Equipment: Familiarity with Cisco Nexus switches (9K, 7K, etc.) and Cisco Catalyst switches and routers.
- Additional Knowledge: XVLAN, wireless networking, and AWS networking is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the networking team with daily operations and ongoing projects.
- Troubleshoot routing and switching issues.
- Develop new network designs and manage maintenance windows.
- Apply expertise in BGP and OSPF, traffic engineering, route optimization, and failover scenarios.
