Job Responsibilities- Function autonomously to conduct patient histories and physicals for complex critical, chronically ill, and acute patients.
- Order, perform, and analyze diagnostic and therapeutic tests concerning the needs of the patient, and follow up on a regular basis to ensure their needs are being adequately met.
- Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities to ensure the health and comfort of all patients.
- Implement measures to assist patients in regaining and sustaining physiologic endurance to include serving in the first assisting role.
- Develop treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals and monitoring the effectiveness of all interventions.
- Facilitate the staff and the patient as well as the family decision-making process by providing educational tools for self-management of acute or chronic illnesses.

Physician will be treating Diabetes, Colds/Flu, COPD, Asthma/Sinus, Well Baby Visits, Pregnancy testing, Physicals, and others.They are currently seeking a Family Practice Physician for coverage 9/28/20 through 10/30/20. Candidate must have a Suboxone waiver!
You will receive:
- Hourly Compensation
- Malpractice coverage at 1mil/3mil
Duration:
- 9/28/20 – 10/30/20
Hours:
- M – F, 9am – 5pm
Particulars:
- Both Paper and EMR charting used
- 3-4 patients seen per hour
- No On-call hours
- 10 miles from the beach
Requirements:
- Active and Unrestricted Alabama license (mandatory)
- Suboxone Waiver on DEA License (mandatory)
- Must be comfortable on your own – no other physician on staff tomorrow!
