Senior Logistics Specialist
Responsibilities:
Noblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) and their missions’ to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings.
Noblis MSD is actively recruiting for a Sr. Logistics Specialist to support the US Navy, responsibilities include the following:
- Developing and maintaining a sound knowledge of all aspects on U.S. Navy Integrated Logistics Support as it relates to surface ships and submarine Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems.
- Assisting in the integration of the supporting ILS documentation for all HM&E Systems and Equipment.
- Collecting and analyzing data for the purpose of providing metrics for ILS Feedback Reports.
- Ensuring project documents and deliverables are accurate, complete and current.
- Provide ILS status updates to NSWCPD customers, assist in the facilitation of meetings and program reviews.
- Identifying areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
- Develop and maintain solid professional relationships with all clients.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions.
- Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
- Build a knowledge base of each client's business, organization, and objectives.
- Develop a solid understanding of the work performed for the clients supported by the project team.
- Develop a very good understanding of our capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors' Degree in a Logistics or Business field and 5+ years of professional experience working in an engineering or technical field. Will also consider a high school diploma, GED equivalent or related military experience including 14 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in completing ILS Certifications and COP files/Change Notices.
- Experience in identifying material and logistic requirements for ship alteration and repair.
- Experience with the Navy Supply and procurement systems and procedures for requisitioning.
- Prior experience working on U.S. Navy ships and/or other DoD programs preferred.
- DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a DoD Secret.
Desired Qualifications:
- Understand the ILS Certification process.
- Prior experience working in CDMD-OA and MBPS.
- Mentor and Train Logisticians.
- Maintain professional relationships with NSWCPD Customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws.The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.
Posted Salary Range: USD $81,270.00 - USD $126,970.00 /Yr.
