The Youth Therapist directly to our Lead Youth Therapist. The therapist provides services in-home to our youth in their treatment homes in Southern New Jersey.
Salary: $63,000
What Devereux Looks for in YOU:
- Provide individual and family therapy to youth in your assigned homes.
- Conduct assessments with our youth to create a comprehensive treatment plan.
- Lead Child and Family team meeting monthly for youth.
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary team internally and externally, including parents/legal guardians, CMO and DCPP staff, treatment home parents, social service coordinators, psychiatric APN, psychologist, and recreational specialist.
- On call responsibilities are included in the position, which include, but not limited to phone consultation to assigned treatment homes. Alternating weekend on call with other behavioral health staff (averaging about 6 times a year).
Qualifications:
You'd make a great Youth Therapist if you have:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other related clinical discipline.
- Valid LSW, LAC, LCSW, or LPC.
- Two years of working with children and/or youth
- Experience providing in-community treatment preferred.
