Senior Access Analyst - Hartford

We are seeking a Senior Access Analyst to join our team based in Hartford County, Connecticut. This role is critical in the field of systems analysis, requiring a high degree of complexity and involvement in leadership activities. As a Senior Access Analyst, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of defining systems information requirements, preparing comprehensive written documentation and managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and define system information requirements for system enhancements or replacements.
  • Employ comprehensive analytical skills to communicate system, application, and interface maintenance or enhancement requests to clients and programmer/build staff.
  • Manage multiple projects or large tasks for the implementation of application changes or replacements.
  • Prepare and maintain written documentation in support of systems enhancements and replacements.
  • Collaborate to resolve interface issues between different vendor systems.
  • Develop, implement, document and validate comprehensive test plans of relevant application components and related interfaces.
  • Conduct pre- and post-project benchmarking metrics for moderate to complex projects.
  • Participate in the system selection process, including needs assessment, RFP and vendor selection.
  • Support the integration of information security in the development, design, and implementation of Hospital Technology Resources.
  • Support all compliance activities related to state, federal regulatory requirements, healthcare accreditation standards, and all other applicable regulations.
This role requires proficiency in Epic Cadence and Certified Epic. Experience with third-party system integration and interfaces, such as Experian, is preferred. Additional Epic certifications may be required to support higher complexity projects or issues.

Relevant certification is desired for non-Epic applications.

  • The candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Epic Grand Central is a must for the role
  • The candidate should hold a certification in Epic
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey information to various stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and best practices
  • The candidate should possess a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
