Job Description

Ideal Project Manager:

  • Plan, direct, and oversee project activities to ensure objectives are achieved within the designated timeline and budget.
  • Assess product designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, contract requirements, and associated drawings and specifications.
  • Analyze project specifications to develop construction procedures, including timelines and staffing plans for each phase.
  • Prepare and approve job forecasts to support accurate financial and resource planning.
  • Review project specifications to ensure contractor and subcontractor compliance.
  • Evaluate proposals and contracts to ensure alignment with client requirements, design specifications, and company policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Oversee job profitability, project initiation, budget monitoring, and adherence to schedule updates.
  • Manage owner billings and collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate and timely cash flow reporting.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Project Manager will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture is required.
  • Proficiency in software tools such as Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Project is essential.
  • Experience with wood frame ground-up multifamily construction is required.
  • Expertise in pre-construction activities, including planning, design evaluation, constructability reviews, value engineering, scheduling, and conceptual estimating.
  • Strong client-facing skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities are a must.
  • Experience with garden-style multifamily projects is required.
