About the job
The Customer Intelligence team is looking for a Head of CI Sales – North America. You will be responsible for the Customer Intelligence revenue performance in the stated geography or territory. You will manage a team of CI Sales Executives and Sales Development Reps.Accountable to New Recurring Revenues (software) encompassing Acquisition, Modernization and Expansion.
This role isn’t just about hitting numbers – it’s about inspiring your team, building relationships, and making an impact that resonates with customers, partners, and industry leaders.
Work Location: Position is open to work in the US or Canada based on where the candidate is eligible to work.
As a Head of CI Sales - North America, you will:
- Manage and mentor a team of Account Executives, setting clear goals and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed team revenue targets. Focus on Sales Process, Qualification techniques and Pipeline Management.
- Represent our organization at industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities, embodying our brand values and vision.
- Leverage matrix collaboration with internal and external support functions such as Customer Success, Customer Advisory, and Professional Services to deliver seamless customer experiences and maximize outcomes.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including enterprise customers and partners.
- Stay ahead of market trends, customer needs, and competitive movements to position SAS as the Marketing Technology provider of choice.
- 12 years of experience in software sales, including 5 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully achieving a sales target.
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or quantitative field.
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, within the technology or software industry.
- A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets with enterprise-level customers.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating diverse sales teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of the MarTech landscape, its industries, and business culture.
- An equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
