Duties: Perform all phases of software engineering including design, development, testing, and deployment in an Agile software development environment. Design and develop new features using various languages, including Spring Boot, AngularJS, NodeJS, and AWS suite.Conduct relational database design and SQL development using Oracle, MySQL, and Postgres. Design and build REST services with AWS and Microservice architectures using AWS API Gateway, AWS Cloud Formation, AWS EC2, AWS RDS/Aurora, and AWS Lambda.
Develop multi-tiered Java applications using Java EE, JPA Hibernate, SOAP, and REST Web Services. Collaborate with other teams, represent in technical forums, conduct new technology research for product development, and recommend product enhancements.
Actively participate in code reviews, analyze results, and choose best solutions.
Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Experience
Required: 5 years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer, Technical Manager, Technical Lead, Project Associate, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation.
Special
Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of prior work experience in each of the following:
- Object-oriented and functional software engineering using Spring Boot, AngularJS, and NodeJS.
- Working in at least two of the following AWS environments: AWS API Gateway, AWS Cloud Formation, AWS EC2, AWS RDS/Aurora, and/or AWS Lambda.
- Working with containers and orchestration using Docker software.
- Designing and building REST services with AWS using Spring Boot, and Microservice architectures using at least two of the following: AWS API Gateway, AWS Cloud Formation, AWS EC2, AWS RDS/Aurora, and/or AWS Lambda.
- Relational database design and SQL development using the following tools: Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL, and Postgres.
- Designing and developing web user interface SPA using HTML, JS, CSS, and AngularJS.
- Building and deploying scale web apps using the following tools: Git, Jenkins, and AWS.
Salary: $165,627 to $179,830 per year
