We are seeking a Customer Service Representative based in North Charleston, South Carolina, to join our team in the Service industry. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, focusing on maintaining customer satisfaction and operational efficiencies in the HVAC sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound telephone calls and provide professional assistance to customer inquiries.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently and dispatch teams for HVAC maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain meticulous records.
  • Utilize multi-line phone systems, ensuring a pleasant phone manner at all times.
  • Keep a thorough record of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
  • Utilize a job scheduler to organize and prioritize tasks for the day.
  • Maintain a high typing speed (over 60 WPM) to ensure efficient data entry.
  • Use knowledge of the building and construction industry to better assist customers.
  • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
  • Proficiency in dispatching and job scheduling, with a particular focus on HVAC systems
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service, including the ability to resolve customer complaints and issues effectively
  • Ability to schedule appointments and manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Typing speed of over 60 WPM
  • Experience with answering multi-line phone systems and handling inbound telephone calls
  • Knowledge of phone operations and professional phone etiquette
  • Pleasant phone manner that enhances customer interaction
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in a high-pressure environment.
