At Phoenix Dog Cat Bird Hospital, we take immense pride in our team of compassionate veterinary professionals who genuinely care about the well-being of pets and their owners. Our well-rounded team includes 4 CSR, 2 VTA, and 9 VT, with 2 licensed technicians, all dedicated to providing exceptional care in a supportive and friendly atmosphere.Our very experienced Practice Manager ensures smooth workflow in our day-to-day operations, allowing you to focus on providing the best care for our patients. From the moment you walk through our doors, you'll feel the warmth of our team that makes our clinic feel like home.
Our Mentorship - Your Path to Success
New graduates joining our team receive dedicated support, time, and guidance to ensure a successful start in their veterinary career. Our mentorship program includes:
- Structured orientation
- Zoom calls and round table discussions with fellow graduates
- Peer advisors for networking and support
- Slack group discussions to connect with experienced vets for case reviews and advice
- Longer appointment times
- 1-on-1 surgical training
- Specialized training in exotic medicine
- Doctor hours: 8 am - 6 pm
- Flexible with 3 set days a week and every Saturday (negotiable)
- Surgery 1-2 days a week
- No after-hours or on-call requirements
