• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients, and facilitating smooth communication between patients and medical staff
• This role requires a understanding of medical terminology, office management, and adherence to HIPAA regulations
• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently
• Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for medical staff
• Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications with professionalism
• Collect patient information and verify insurance details while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic
• Assist with clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
• Support medical billing processes by verifying charges and processing payments as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
