Maintenance Technician

About the Company:Our client is a global bakery with plants in NJ and NY. Due to growth, they are seeking Maintenance Technicians for their NJ plant.
Position Overview:The Maintenance Technician will perform corrective and preventative maintenance, installations, and modifications on manufacturing equipment. The role ensures safety in work areas according to SOPs and OSHA standards and provides updates on manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, installations, and modifications on manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure work areas comply with safety standards (SOPs, OSHA).
- Provide updates and reports on equipment status.
- Report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Requirements:
- Associate's in Electro-Technology or similar, military technical training, or vocational trade schooling.
- 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (food production preferred).
- Experience with PLCs, automation, and reading electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of LEAN 5S and GMP.
Salary & Benefits:
- $30–37/hr (All shifts available)

Pay Details: $30.00 to $37.00 per hour
