Personal Injury Paralegal - Arizona Based - Phoenix

The Role:

Torticity is looking for an experienced Personal Injury Case Manager with exposure to pre-litigation auto injury cases. In this role, the Personal Injury Case Manager will be responsible for managing a docket of personal injury files for the state of Arizona.

They will work on a high volume of pre-litigation cases from end-to-end post intake including extensive plaintiff contact, investigations and settlement negotiations with the insurance adjusters.

*Please note this role can be remote as long as you have relevant experience handling Arizona-based Personal Injury Law cases*

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Proactively own and manage robust case load effectively to meet internal stakeholder and external partner deadlines
  • Managing claimant relationships as primary point of contact during pre-litigation phase
  • Being open to providing feedback on and making suggestions for process improvements
  • Acting as a liaison between client and insurance carriers before the commencement of litigation
  • Negotiating with claims adjusters
  • Obtaining information & documentation necessary to evaluate bodily injury claims
  • Creating and maintaining an internal database
  • Requesting medical and billing records
  • Preparing settlement demand packages
  • Reviewing files with supervising manager, paralegals, and attorneys

Preferred Experience:

  • At least 4 years of personal injury case management or paralegal experience
  • At least 4 years of solid experience handling personal injury cases originating in Arizona
  • Experience handling pre-litigation cases from inception post intake through settlement
  • Maintain a confidential, HIPAA compliant environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism with confidential and sensitive information
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Company-paid travel may be required for annual or quarterly team visits.
  • Knowledge of the Spanish language is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

This role will receive competitive salary, benefits, and variable compensation. The salary for U.S.-based employees in this role will be within the range listed below. Compensation is determined by various factors, including experience, location, and performance.

This position is also eligible for variable compensation based on individual and company performance.

💰 Salary Range: $50,000—$70,000 USD
