*** Candidate will need Phlebotomist skills ***- This is a Float Tech position
- Rotating schedule every 2 weeks (6am-230pm, 8am-430pm or 930am-6pm)
- Weekend rotation every 5 weeks
- $5,000 Sign-On-Bonus Eligible

Preferred QualificationsRole Purpose
The Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) I performs processing and routine testing on blood and other specimens which requires a knowledge and understanding of quality control, basic instrument maintenance, and procedure methodologies and reference ranges.Demonstrates good laboratory practices.
Responsibilities- Operates all instrumentation in assigned areas to deliver precise, timely, and accurate laboratory results. Performs all testing and operation of equipment as necessary to deliver quality results.
- Reports results through the laboratory computer system accurately, meeting published turn around times for routine testing and stats.
- Performs quality controls for all equipment and troubleshoots malfunctioning instrumentation as necessary.
- Participates in performance improvement activities and initiatives by proactively diagnosing and resolving problems. Specific quality functions are handled in an organized and timely fashion.
