Account Manager

Overview:

Alera Group is looking for an Account Manager. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

As an Account Manager, the primary focus of this position is to assist the Account Executive with implementing the strategic goals of the clients. This will include building client relationships, leading carrier implementations, project management, collaborating closely with the internal team to meet the needs of the client and more.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for working with the Team (AE and CSR) to provide the client the best experiences from Alera Group.
• Leading implementations with carriers.
• Assist with client renewals by helping plan for the renewal meeting, implementing strategy, preparing open enrollment materials, etc.
• Manage complex claim or billing issues and work to offer solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Become proficient in all plans and products in the assigned book of business and act as a internal resource to the client service team.

Qualifications:

• Pennsylvania Life, Accident, and Health insurance license required (if not already licensed, employee will be required to become licensed within 90 days of employment).
• 2-3 years of related industry experience.
• Computer Skills: Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products; experience with Zywave a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to successfully interact at all company levels while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
