Key responsibilities include:- Assist in various aspects of management company and fund accounting, including reviewing the quarterly and year-end closing process for multiple investment partnerships.
- Contribute to financial reporting to limited partners, including capital calls, distributions, financial statements, and associated partners' capital accounts.
- Assist with management fee, waterfall allocation, and other complex calculations.
- Support the recording of investment transactions, ensuring accounting records align with legal documentation.
- Play a crucial role in closing deals alongside the CFO/Controller and investment teams.
- Enhance internal accounting policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
- Assist with the preparation of portfolio company valuations.
- Monitor partnership cash balances and capital requirements.
- Support audits and tax estimates/return preparation activities.
- Assist with materials for LP meetings and diligence requests.
- Perform special ad-hoc projects as requested.
Interested candidates must have a bachelor degree in accounting or finance, CPA or parts passed is highly preferred, two plus years of experience in public accounting dealing with private equity or fund administration clients or working for a large private equity fund administration company.

- CPA or CPA eligible is required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the private equity sector
- Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations
- Experience with general ledger management and journal entries
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with month-end close processes
- Knowledge of private equity fund structures, including waterfall models
- Ability to analyze financial statements and assist in financial statement preparation
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country of employment without must be eligible to work in the U.S.
