What You'll Do:

The Senior Director, Enterprise Financial Systems will be responsible for our global financial systems strategy & vision, including leading various transformation initiatives, including but not limited to implementing OneStream, S4, Blackline, and MDG as well as continually leveraging / implementing best in class technology to identify automation opportunities and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.

We are looking for an experienced financial systems professional capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, rapidly growing and fluid organization. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the Company’s most critical financial applications, including the Company’s global consolidation tool (OneStream), ERP (SAP & S4), global account reconciliation tool (Blackline), global lease software, and financial reporting tool (Workiva).
  • Lead the global implementation of our consolidations and reporting system, OneStream.
  • Cross functional collaboration with Global Business Services, IT Organization, Risk and Controls, and Transformation Teams to deploy financial system changes and adoption of best practices as we move toward standardized global systems.
  • Drive the short and long-term vision for the Company’s global financial systems while establishing governance, controls to support product delivery with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Evaluate the design of existing financial processes and systems, developing recommendations (both systematic and process driven improvements) with budgeting and ROI analysis and delivering proposed solutions to completion.
  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function through existing technologies and new solutions to meet business requirements with consistent processes and controls.
  • Establish strong relationships with all levels of the business cross-functional stakeholders, manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate discussions to ensure information flow, transparency, collaboration and effective execution of solution aligned to business needs.
  • Responsible for monitoring the health and integrity of our financial applications while establishing standards for their use and ensuring compliance.
  • Responsible for resolving ad hoc system issues and helping troubleshooting failures that impact financial reporting, especially during month-end close.
  • Develop and build relationships with consumers of the financial applications to identify pain points, build trust, recommend changes with “buy in” from them and manage expectations of delivery of agreed changes.
  • Collaborate with the Finance & Accounting Leaders to support the External Reporting, Management Reporting, Budgeting and Planning, and Internal Reporting.
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships and recommend efficiencies and cost improvement opportunities.
  • Manage the EPM team to support applications, enhancements, and projects to assign tasks, direct and assure the timely completion of the work.
  • Oversee system integrity, including data integrity, financial code block and roll up points for external reporting purposes.
  • Oversee MDG team responsible for global master data/code block.

What We're Looking For:

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, data analytics, or management information systems (advanced degree preferred). We are seeking a candidate with a minimum 15 years of financial systems experience in a complex multinational organization. Other qualifications include:

  • Extensive understanding of ERP functions and workflows, including international expansion and global consolidations
  • Must demonstrate strategic thought leadership to help shape the future state financial systems landscape including use of AI and associated impact on policy and controls
  • Previous technical development experience of Financial Systems
  • Demonstrated experience working in a global matrix organization and leading group efforts through influence and communication via strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective project management on scope, estimation of timelines, resource and capacity planning, effective execution towards successful delivery
  • Demonstrable experience of executing process transformation initiatives
  • Ability to influence & drive change with a collaborative mindset and strong ability to work cross-functionally at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skill
  • Experience with Hyperion and/or OneStream, Blackline, Oracle, a plu
This role is ideally based in the New York City or Chicagoland area, though remote based candidates are encouraged to apply as we are prioritizing candidate fit over physical location.
  • In New York, this role will work a flexible hybrid model based in our New York Office, located in the Flatiron District.
  • In Chicago, this role will work a flexible hybrid model based at Wilson Sporting Goods Co. global headquarters.
