Accounting Manager/Supervisor

We are in search of an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Baldwin Park, California. This role involves overseeing our company's financial operations, maintaining accuracy in our bookkeeping, and ensuring compliance. The Accounting Manager/Supervisor will also manage HR activities to support a productive and compliant workplace.

• Overseeing daily accounting operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
• Using QuickBooks to maintain and update financial records
• Preparing financial statements and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Reconciling bank statements and ensuring the accuracy of all financial data
• Monitoring cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ensuring compliance with tax regulations at the federal, state, and local levels, including filing of returns
• Coordinating with external auditors, tax advisors, and consultants when necessary
• Administering payroll, employee benefits, and retirement plans
• Managing employee records, including onboarding, offboarding, and ensuring compliance with labor laws
• Developing and enforcing HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
• Handling recruitment efforts from job postings to candidate evaluations.
• Addressing employee relations matters and resolving workplace conflicts professionally
• Ensuring compliance with state and federal employment laws
• Supervising and mentoring entry level accounting staff, if applicable
• Act as a liaison between management and employees, ensuring effective communication and alignment with company goals
• Partnering with department heads to align financial and HR strategies with business objectives. • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Accounting Functions
• Ability to handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) efficiently
• Experience in Auditing procedures and principles
• Familiarity with Billing Functions
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software
• Excellent skills in Excel Formulas
• Experience in Financial Statement Preparation
• Ability to interpret and analyze Financial Statements
• Experience in preparing Financial Statements
• Knowledge in Human Resources (HR) Administration
