Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Manager, you are responsible for overseeing the general accounting practices of the organization. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.
In addition, you will:
- Manage the day-to-day accounting of fixed assets and leases
- Be responsible for the fixed asset and lease modules day to day and closing
- Be responsible for the compliance of corporate policies, as well as adherence to all financial procedures
- Prepare CAPEX and depreciation budgets, and report monthly actual vs budget analysis with corresponding variance explanations
- Work with the Fleet and IT department on weekly/monthly additions, disposals and transfers
- Develop monthly and quarterly accounting reports for senior management
- Complete other duties as assigned
Compensation $85k-$95k/yr, Depending on Experience
Qualifications:
About You:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and/or equivalent years of experience
- You have 8 + years of experience of accounting experience
- You’re a certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
- Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial information
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- You have advanced computer skills (i.e., MS Word, Excel, Oracle, and web-based tools)
- Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
