Sr. Accountant - San Francisco

Qualifications:

• Strong desire to become a Tax Manager in a boutique accounting firm.
• Prior basic supervisory experience is preferred.
• 2+ years since earning your license as a CPA (attestation level) or chartered accountant.
• 5+ years in tax work, accounting, financial analysis or similar preparatory work.
• Ability to research tax rules and accounting practices using online resources and direct-call outreach to sources.
• Advanced proficiency with Lacerte, QuickBooks and Excel, online research skills, and strong general computer skills across Microsoft Office Suite, time and billing software, etc.
• Attention to detail, error-free work product and disciplined procedures for documentation.
• Soft Skills: problem-solving, strong work ethic, strong organization, high integrity, trustworthiness, dependable and a team player.
• Communication skills: excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills. Ability to articulate in a clear and concise manner to clients, upper management and co-workers.
