Role Description:

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in the recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and assisting with onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet weekly with leads to understand priorities and candidates we need to contact
  • As everyone works remote, teams will communicate via slack / team applications identified by leads
  • Monitor for communications between team calls and respond timely via team collaboration application shared
  • Keep documentation up to date in tracking tool per training to be provided
  • Call candidates between team calls to go through screening questions and more as identified
  • Meet to identify candidate fit and next steps
  • Work to support onboarding of new candidates, helping them get familiar with our tools, approach and ways of working
  • Understand the talent acquisition process and identify areas for improvement from experience
  • Additional responsibilities may be identified to support projects / day to day)
Basic Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong editing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
  • Have your own computer and able to join meetings regularly
  • Ability to receive well considered and constructive criticism
  • Ability to research and self-learn between sessions to self-solve
  • Have a strong work ethic, focused on achieving the right outcomes
  • Persistent, and will follow up multiple times in a day with people (i.e., candidate) with no response first time
Beneficial Experience (this is completely optional - NONE of this is required, just good types of experience)
  • Strong communication skills and detail oriented
  • Excellent organizational, presentation and writing skills
  • Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
  • Able to multi-task and effectively manage several tasks at once
  • Previous internships or part-time jobs in HR or recruitment
  • Experience in a customer service role
  • Involvement in college career services or student organizations
  • Volunteer work in recruitment or event planning
  • Experience conducting interviews or informational sessions
  • Assisting with onboarding new employees or members
This internship will last for a period of 6 months and does not provide any compensation. The internship will provide you with hands-on experience in the recruitment process, offering the chance to learn about candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing techniques.
You will work closely with our leadership team, developing key skills in talent acquisition and learning to navigate recruitment software. This experience will enhance your resume by adding valuable HR and recruitment competencies, helping you stand out in your future career.
