We are in search of a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Training & Development industry located in New Haven, Connecticut. As a Customer Service Representative, your primary role will be to build solid customer relationships through the provision of accurate and timely customer service.
In this role, you'll also play a key part in our dynamic, rapidly-changing call center environment.
Responsibilities:
- Actively cross-selling and referring customers to support business development and client referral goals
- Fielding and sending written business correspondence to maintain clear communication
- Managing incoming telephone calls to ensure all customer inquiries are addressed
- Offering prompt and accurate customer service to foster customer satisfaction
- Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary
- Processing customer credit applications accurately to maintain efficient operations
- Maintaining accurate customer credit records to ensure up-to-date information is available.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer service or administrative assistance is advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use basic office equipment and computer software
- Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality customer service under pressure
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
- Must have a professional demeanor and strong work ethic
- Capable of handling confidential information responsibly
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required
