Public Senior Accountant

We are in search of a Public Senior Accountant in Saint Louis, Missouri. The role will encompass various accounting duties and interactions in a dynamic environment. The accountant will handle tasks related to customer applications, records, and inquiries, ensuring precision and efficiency in their tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications
• Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure their accuracy
• Handle and resolve customer inquiries related to accounting matters
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status
• Utilize accounting software systems for the efficient handling of tasks
• Perform various accounting functions such as accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Carry out accrual accounting and auditing tasks as required
• Handle the financial close process in a timely and accurate manner
• Use Sage Accounting Software for various accounting tasks
• Execute ADP
• Financial Services related tasks as necessary.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Senior Accountant or similar role.
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems.
• Expertise in ADP - Financial Services.
• Familiarity with BlackLine software.
• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions.
• Proven experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting.
• Auditing skills.
• Experience with the Financial Close Process.
• Proficiency in Sage Accounting Software.
