We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to assist with general accounting and financial processes of our company.

• Generate high volume invoices
• Enter/update invoices on in-house accounting system
• Review/audit customer rates for accuracy in billing
• Print, mail, invoices
• Communicate with customers and staff members on billing-related questions
• Respond to email, phone calls and written correspondence
• Escalate issues and communicate with peers, colleagues, and superiors
• General knowledge & understanding of Service Agreements
• Preparation distribution and filing year-end 1099s
• Other duties as assigned

Specific Skills:

• Similar experience as an Accounting Clerk or relevant role in accounting
• Must be computer savvy and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills
• Must have professional customer service skills
• Must have strong organization skills, know how to prioritize, and have a strong attention to detail
• Must know how to multi-task while maintaining accuracy
• Must maintain a strong sense of urgency
• Must possess effective problem-solving skills
• Must have the ability to work independently and complete tasks on time
• Knowledge of an accounting information system is a plus
• Provide clerical support to Accounting Controller
• Must maintain confidentiality and integrity
• Two years accounting experience preferred
