Tampa - Onboarding Specialist
Overview:
Responsibilities:
The Talent Acquisition Onboarding Specialist role facilitates all the pre-hire initiatives for prospective employees with the goal of providing a positive experience. The position will also collaborate with respective hiring managers to ensure our prospective hires are prepared for their first day and enabling a quick ramp up in productivity.in the areas of Talent Acquisition and Onboarding.
- Ensure pre-hires have access to the list of tasks and working with them as a point of contact.
- Answer candidate’s questions related to company policies, compensation and benefits.
- Initiate background checks and assist with credentialing requirements as needed for pre-hires with approved offers.
- Provide communication to key stakeholders on any delays with background screenings that may compromise a pre-hire’s start date
- Ensure I-9 forms are completed correctly and timely.
- Work with hiring managers to ensure appropriate equipment and other essentials for their job will be in place on start date
- Work with pre-hires on any questions with benefits as applicable
- Instruct pre-hires on their responsibility to complete compliance and related training and the deadlines for completion
- Assist hiring managers with communication to any pre-hires on first day orientation schedules as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 years previous HR/healthcare multi-state experience
- Previous experience supporting a human resources department
