Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 3x12 shifts (36 hours per week)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized patient care in a telemetry unit. The RN will conduct assessments, plan and implement care, and maintain accurate documentation. In collaboration with physicians, the RN will manage patient care and ensure the delivery of evidence-based, patient-centered services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient conditions and assist physicians in delivering care.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions based on the patient’s needs.
- Accurately document care and update patient records as needed.
- Advocate for evidence-based practices to maintain high standards of care.
- Deliver compassionate, professional care to all patients.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry experience.
Education & Certifications:
- Required: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN), BLS-AHA, NIHSS, Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam, NJ RN License or multi-state compact license.
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
