Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with expertise in QuickBooks and Accounts Receivable (AR)/Accounts Payable (AP) management. This contract-to-permanent, part-time position (up to 20 hours per week) is critical in maintaining the financial health of our organization.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate effectively with our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and manage AR/AP to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, company credit cards and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and support the month-end close process.
  • Track and categorize expenses, invoices, and other financial data.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and support budgeting efforts.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to financial systems and workflows as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in bookkeeping with a focus on AR/AP.
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with financial reconciliation processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders and team members.
  • Ability to work on-site in Alpharetta, GA with occasional remote tasks, if necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with month-end and year-end closings.
  • Familiarity with other accounting software or platforms.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
