Senior Accountant

• Update, verify, and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other financial records
• Review invoices and accurately enter for payment into accounting system, including vendor details and general ledger coding
• Process approved payments and transfers in accounting system
• Prepare monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Monitor bank account balances to ensure proper funding for payments
• Work with Controller to issue Partner Contributions and receive Partner Distributions
• Prepare monthly journal entries for various items including recording mortgage loan payments, credit card transactions, and others as required
• Assist in preparing financial reports and statements, including monthly balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Assist in providing financial data for purposes of budgeting
• Assist CPA in preparing bi-annual Statement of Financial Condition
• Correspond with external vendors regarding personal and professional matters
• Preform other assignments and duties as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or Business Administration/Economics with a concentration in accounting) possessing strong accounting skills
• Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external teams both verbally and via email
• Possess the utmost integrity and uphold confidentiality
• Ability to adapt quickly to change and work well in a team environment
