Location: Phoenix, AZ. Domestic travel to client site required (20%), possible relocation to unanticipated location throughout the U.S.
Duties: Provide highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation. Oversee any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems. Work closely with customer to optimize Metrology tool performance to meet customer process and integration requirements.Check and approve operational quality of system equipment. Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Analyze processes to identify areas for improvement in terms of tool efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Troubleshoot process-related issues such as equipment failures, and deviation from quality standards. Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to process performance and quality. Lead projects focused on process improvement, new product introduction, or equipment upgrades.
Requirements: Bachelors degree or foreign degree equivalent in Materials Science, Materials Engineering or related field, and 2 years of industry experience in the position offered or related capacity. Alternatively, accepting a Masters degree or foreign degree equivalent in Materials Science, Materials Engineering or related field.
Demonstrate knowledge and/or experience in each of the following:
Materials characterization tools and techniques such as scanning electron microscope; Root cause analyses; JMP; Metrology tools and systems; Python and/or MATLAB; and Simulation software: COMSOL.
Salary: $92,102-$110,522/yr
