Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • - Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned region.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market share and achieve revenue targets.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients, leading the negotiation and closing of new deals.
  • Account Management:
  • Manage and grow existing accounts by understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with the technical and customer support teams to resolve any issues and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor account performance and conduct regular reviews to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Track sales metrics, including sales forecasts, quotas, and performance against targets.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to refine strategies and improve sales effectiveness.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Coordinate with product development teams to ensure alignment with market needs and customer feedback.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements:

  • - Experience:
  • Proven track record of success in sales within the electronic components or related manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in both business development and account management roles.
  • Strong understanding of the electronic components market and industry dynamics.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a results-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Location:
  • Must be located in San Francisco, CA, or willing to relocate.
