Novel Technology Services is seeking an experienced Medical Record Lead Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and leading training programs for medical record management within our healthcare projects.
You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure they are proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and understand best practices in record management.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver comprehensive training sessions for healthcare staff on medical record management processes and electronic medical record systems.
- Develop training materials, manuals, and guides to facilitate effective learning and understanding of EMR functionalities.
- Assess the training needs of medical staff and customize training programs to meet diverse user requirements.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and assessments, making adjustments as necessary to improve learning outcomes.
- Provide ongoing support, guidance, and resources for staff to ensure compliance with medical record management standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with IT teams and other stakeholders to ensure the EMR system is updated and reflects current practices in medical record management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to medical records and healthcare compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical records, preferably within a legal, healthcare, or insurance setting.
- Experience in designing and delivering training programs to medical personnel.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance and documentation standards.
- Proficient in electronic medical record systems (knowledge of [specific EMR systems] is a plus).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt training methods to accommodate diverse learning styles among participants.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in assessing training needs and program effectiveness.
- Fluency in English (mandatory), additional languages are a plus.
