We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry located in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, processing customer orders, and resolving disputes.
This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with customer service employees and other managers, discussing customer needs and opportunities.
- Handle customer calls and in-person interactions, receiving orders for installation, changes in service, or discontinuance.
- Interview customers and record interview information accurately in our system.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve customer disputes and issues.
- Take payments, process bank deposits, and perform general office duties.
- Deliver services to customers in a manner that promotes goodwill, striving to resolve problems or complaints.
- Maintain accurate customer records, updating details as necessary.
- Use your skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Email Correspondence to complete tasks efficiently.
- Manage customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
- Utilize your skills in Data Entry and Order Entry to accurately process customer credit applications and maintain customer credit records. • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Experience in data entry and order entry
- Demonstrated skills in answering inbound calls and handling both inbound and outbound calls
- Previous experience in a call center customer service role
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Experience in scheduling appointments
- Ability to handle email correspondence professionally and effectively
- Must be able to work in the waste, refuse, and environmental waste management industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle customer complaints and queries effectively
- Must be able to handle high volume of calls and multitask
- Proven track record of maintaining customer satisfaction
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have good problem-solving skills and be able to think quickly under pressure
- Must have attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools related to customer service.
