The Device Software and Services team is recruiting a Sr. Technical Program Manager to automate the product development, launch and life cycle management process to enable large scale product management across Amazon global teams. Key job responsibilities

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative consumer products. In this role, you will:
  • Define, design, and deliver software applications.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop product requirements and overall product roadmap.
  • Drive the implementation and delivery of products. Collaborate with multiple agile engineering and design teams to coordinate, prioritize and deliver to an aggressive roadmap. Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to cross-functional project teams.
  • Support and enhance existing products with thoughtful and measurable impact

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
  • Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
