Accounts Payable Representative
Your ability to manage competing priorities, collaborate with colleagues, and communicate effectively with end users and vendors will be critical to maintaining smooth payment operations.

Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process high volumes of payments, including printing checks, addressing end-user requests for express checks, and securing same- or next-day delivery when required
- Handle the research, crediting, and journaling of credits, along with voiding returned checks and entering them into the general ledger
- Manage recurring payments (equipment leases, service agreements, software licenses, clinical services agreements) and ensure timely and accurate processing
- Work with vendors and end users to obtain necessary funding information for no-PO invoices
- Resolve "kick-out" vouchers when automated payment requests are denied, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Teach and mentor Accounts Payable Representatives to meet departmental productivity goals while maintaining a balance between timely payments, policy compliance, and customer service
- Engage with payees and internal users to resolve payment discrepancies and prevent delays in processing
- Ensure compliance with payment and fraud prevention protocols as required by the Materials Management Transaction Department and Partners Finance
Requirements:
- Education: Associate's Degree (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
- Experience: 2-4 years of Accounts Payable experience (prefer 2 years using PeopleSoft Financials)

- COVID-19 - Flu Shot (in Sept) - MMR, Varicella, and TB Test
- No on-site employee parking; MBTA commute is highly recommended
- If driving, parking costs $25 per day
