Senior Electrical Project Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing engineering design and project management functions focused on design low to medium voltage power systems, electrical equipment, lighting systems and telecommunications.

• Lead building systems engineering and design projects and perform activities related to MEP consulting engineering.
• Consult with Principal in Charge on business development activities and prepare proposals, project cost estimates, personnel assignments, project scopes and deadlines.
• Coordinate with various departments on specific project requirements, specifically in design of electrical systems, including but not limited to low to medium voltage power distribution, utilities, lighting and UPS systems.
• Review and approve project documents, modifications and changes for quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineering staff and clients throughout design process.
• Mentor junior level engineers and designers.
• Conduct job site observations, construction administration and electrical studies as necessary.
• Professional communication with Company leadership, vendors, clients and prospective clients.
• Travel to local project sites is required; some overnight travel may be expected.
