What is a Solar Sales Consultant?
As an Solar Sales Consultant you will conduct Solar consultations with homeowners to analyze their electricity usage, explain the energy offset and incentives they may qualify for before presenting them with a customized Solar proposal to sign.
You will act as both partner and liaison to the customers until installation is complete as the customer experience is Mpowers top priority. Daily warm leads will be provided for you by the number the #1 Solar Appointment Setter team in NYC. The role has two built in career paths, one for a Sr Solar Account Executive and the other for District Sales Management overseeing a team of 2-5 Jr Solar Sales Consultant in a new market.

Our ideal candidates are detail oriented, personable ,charismatic and financially driven.

Responsibilities:

**This position requires a working vehicle, a valid driver's license and a clean driving record**

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales presentations with prospective customers in their home
  • Educate potential clients about the benefits of solar–saving + environment
  • Own and hit/exceed KPI targets within assigned timeframe
  • Identify and close sales opportunities
  • Articulately and effectively guide customers through solar enrollment while ensuring the best possible customer service experience
  • Follow up with customers as needed to ensure a quality sales process

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Need to be comfortable discussing finances and tax liability with homeowners
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record; own vehicle
  • Efficiently communicate proposals during in-home presentations
  • Effective computer skill to update and maintain flow of information throughout our CRM and ability to communicate through multiple platforms (i.e. Email, Slack, WhatsApp)
  • English/Spanish bilingual preferred but not required

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
