Job Description

The Corporate Credit Analyst will focus on analyzing and evaluating credit risk for investments in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sectors. This role requires a deep understanding of corporate finance, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Credit Analysis: Conduct thorough credit risk assessments and analysis of corporate entities within the TMT sector, including financial statement analysis, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Investment Evaluation: Evaluate potential investment opportunities by analyzing company financials, business models, and market conditions to provide recommendations to senior management.
  • Risk Management: Monitor and manage the credit risk of existing TMT portfolio investments, identifying potential risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support credit analysis and investment decision-making processes.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes impacting the TMT sector.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive credit reports, investment memos, and presentations to senior management and investment committees.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including investment bankers, portfolio managers, and legal advisors, to support the execution of investment transactions.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or CFA designation preferred.
  • 1-5 years of experience in credit analysis, corporate finance, or investment banking, with a focus on the TMT sector.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial analysis software.
  • Excellent understanding of corporate credit risk and investment evaluation methodologies.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to professional integrity.

What's on Offer

$100,000 - $125,000 base salary, depending on experience. Bonus and comprehensive benefits.
