Job Description
The Project Manager - Government / Higher Ed - Northern VA will have the following responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large-scale construction projects from start to finish, with a focus on new construction and renovation.
- Oversee daily construction operations and ensure timely project delivery, staying within budget and meeting quality standards.
- Manage client relationships and work with various stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality control processes.
- Use Procore, P6, and Excel to track and report on project progress, budget, and timelines.

The Successful Applicant
The Project Manager - Government / Higher Ed - Northern VA will have the following qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in construction management, with at least one project valued at $25M or more.
- Proven leadership as a Project Manager, managing projects from start to finish.
- Experience in ground-up construction and renovations, preferably within the education sector.
- A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of day-to-day construction processes and skilled trades.
- Proficiency in Procore, Primavera P6, and Excel.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary security clearances.
- Experience with historic preservation, scaffolding, exterior facades, and government projects is highly desirable.

The Project Manager - Government / Higher Ed - Northern VA will receive:
- Competitive salary based on experience up to $130,000
- Monthly car allowance of $800
- Annual discretionary bonus based on company performance
- Cell phone allowance of $1,000 per year
- Up to 15% of W-2 earnings contributed to 401(k), employee stock, and profit-sharing
- Paid Holidays: Seven (7) paid holidays including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (and the day after), and Christmas Day.
