Sr. Cyber Security Engineer (Remote)

Overview:

• Tier One Technologies is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to work on a Contract-to-Hire position with our direct US Government client.
• This will be a 100% remote role.
• Must be a US Citizen and have CISSP certification.
• SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a lead security designer, provide expertise in all areas of cybersecurity.
• Create security assessment reports.
• Design and maintain security controls for applications and infrastructure.
• Implement, network segregation, and device security.
• Enhance security monitoring and detection systems.
• Create and manage all security documentation and testing.
• Perform vulnerability scans and assessments.
• Formulate and administer Cyber Security policies and procedures to define and enhance capabilities and performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field.
• 8-10 years of experience in the Cyber Security or related field.
• Have an active CISSP certification.
• Proficiency in Cyber Security, Information Assurance (IA), Vulnerability, Scans.
• Ability to designs security strategy and strong familiarity with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be eligible to obtain a sensitive clearance – Position of Public Trust.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
• Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last 5 years. Military Service excluded.
