Attorney/Lawyer

Our client is a reputable national law firm. Their attorneys have a nationally and internationally recognized expertise in the transportation industries and have handled matters in every state as well as in many foreign venues at the investigatory, regulatory, trial and appellate levels.

Position Summary:

This role involves handling complex litigation matters such as personal injury, wrongful death, property damage, cargo loss, product liability, and other tort claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in insurance defense and product liability cases across multiple industries, with a focus on claims involving personal injury, wrongful death, property damage, and cargo loss.
• Engage in comprehensive litigation work, including taking and defending depositions, preparing and arguing motions, and trial preparation.
• Demonstrate a strong interest in courtroom litigation; while prior trial experience is advantageous, it is not required.

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school with a strong academic background.
• Licensed to practice law in New York (admission in New Jersey and Connecticut is a plus).
• 3-5 years of experience in insurance defense, product liability, and wrongful death litigation.
• Proven ability to manage depositions and motion practice independently.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and case management skills.
• While prior trial experience is preferred, it is not required.
