FP&A Director

Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a Director of FP& A Consultant (individual contributor) to support our high-growth consumer goods client on a hybrid 4–6-month engagement in the South Bay. Beginning immediately, the Director of FP& A will work under direct supervision of the CFO and assume responsibility for managing the day-to-day corporate FP& A responsibilities and ad hoc analysis including:

• Updating retail sales reports
• Answering cross functional questions related to budgets
• Updating actual vs budget analysis (operating expenses, selling expenses, sales dilution & capital expense)
• Updating sales channel profitability metrics
• Providing reporting support to CFO & accounting team based on actual vs budget analyses
• Publishing financial and operational performance summaries and results to various departments
• Updating competitive pricing tracker
• Look at macro-economic factors, interpret public company earnings, and perform strategic analysis
• Develop scenario analysis and financial models to aid in strategic decision making
• Supporting CFO in forecasting pro forma results for the year
• Must possess strong skills in Annual Budget preparation and management.
• Demonstrated experience in Budget Processes is required.
• Proficiency in Financial Modeling is a must.
• Must have a solid understanding and experience in Market Analysis.
• Strategic Analysis skills are essential for this role.
• Scenario Analysis abilities are required.
• Must be adept in KPI Reporting.
• Experience with Omnichannel strategies is necessary.
• Inventory Analysis skills are a key requirement.
• Must be proficient in using NetSuite software.
• Experience in creating and managing Reporting Dashboards is essential.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (shortcuts, pivots, macros, large data sets, financial models)
