Quality Inspector (Military and Defense)

- 2+ years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with AS9100/AS9102 standards and inspection processes
- Experience with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.)
- attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality and military specifications
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and maintain inspection records
- Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and FARO Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
- Identify non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, and work with teams to resolve quality issues
- Ensure compliance with AS9100/AS9102 standards and other regulatory requirements
- Communicate quality issues and inspection results to production teams and management
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency
