Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System
- The Associate Planner performs production planning, scheduling and inventory management with limited supervision to maintain adherence to production schedules
- Analyze planning requirements and initiate appropriate action to support the production schedule and/or material demand
- Plan, order and manage inventory and materials
- Serve as liaison with other departments to minimize impact on schedule(s); serve as primary point of contact for production and material related concerns and communications
- Follow EHS rules and procedures for your department
- Report EHS incidents and/or unsafe acts and conditions promptly to supervision; forward any opportunities to improve the EHS program to supervision
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Accountability/Scope/Budget:
This position is accountable for the following:
- Support of the department through administrative and tactical execution of specific tasks as communicated by the department manager
- Contribute to short-term, mid-range and long-term organizational goals
- Facilitation/execution of production planning and scheduling processes as well as material management
- Errors or failures to achieve results may add cost and may impact the goals of the organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and demonstrated competence required
- Typically requires 2 or more years of relevant work experience or exposure within a regulated environment to sufficiently demonstrate the core job responsibilities of the position
- Candidates/incumbents should possess the following: ability to clearly, concisely and accurately convey communications; ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior; ability to work independently and in groups; demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills; critical-thinking skills; ability and aptitude to use various types of databases and other computer software; ability to prioritize; strong organizational and project management skills and the ability/aptitude to provide solutions and contingency plans through the comprehensive review of alternatives
The base pay for this position is $48,000.00 – $96,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
