Project Administrator

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Project Administrator to join our team in WATERVLIET, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from payroll management to safety training, all within the construction industry.
This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, providing long-term stability and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full cycle of payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Implement and manage data into new software systems to optimize workflow and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate various construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct employee training and onboarding, providing the necessary information and resources to new hires.
- Implement safety protocols and conduct regular training to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in office administration duties, ensuring smooth operations within the office environment.
- Leverage your experience in the construction industry to effectively manage projects and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Proficiency in Full Cycle Payroll processes, including understanding of payroll tax laws, preparation of payroll reports, and reconciliation of payroll data.
- Experience in the Construction Industry, preferably with knowledge of Construction Projects, including planning, execution, and project management.
- Demonstrated ability in Employee Training, including the development of training materials, conducting training sessions, and assessing training effectiveness.
- Knowledge and understanding of Environmental Safety regulations and guidelines, particularly in the context of the construction industry.
- Ability to use payroll software and other related computer applications effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with employees at all levels.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex information.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
