We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Project Administrator to join our team in WATERVLIET, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from payroll management to safety training, all within the construction industry.

This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, providing long-term stability and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full cycle of payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Implement and manage data into new software systems to optimize workflow and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate various construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Conduct employee training and onboarding, providing the necessary information and resources to new hires.
  • Implement safety protocols and conduct regular training to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assist in office administration duties, ensuring smooth operations within the office environment.
  • Leverage your experience in the construction industry to effectively manage projects and resolve any issues that may arise.

  • Proficiency in Full Cycle Payroll processes, including understanding of payroll tax laws, preparation of payroll reports, and reconciliation of payroll data.
  • Experience in the Construction Industry, preferably with knowledge of Construction Projects, including planning, execution, and project management.
  • Demonstrated ability in Employee Training, including the development of training materials, conducting training sessions, and assessing training effectiveness.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Environmental Safety regulations and guidelines, particularly in the context of the construction industry.
  • Ability to use payroll software and other related computer applications effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with employees at all levels.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex information.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
