Jr. Legal Secretary

Our client, a prestigious AMLAW 100 Litigation Firm, is seeking a Junior Legal Secretary to join their team on a long-term remote contract basis. Key Responsibilities:

• E-Filing: Prepare and file legal documents electronically in both state and federal courts.
• Document Formatting: Assist with formatting legal pleadings, correspondence, and other documentation in accordance with firm and court requirements.
• Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including calendar management, scheduling, and coordinating communications.
• Multi-Tasking & Prioritization: Manage multiple tasks efficiently while working under deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys and senior legal secretaries to ensure smooth workflow and case management.
• Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure accuracy and adherence to court rules and firm standards in all filings and documentation.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in a legal support role within a law firm.
• E-filing experience in both state and federal courts is required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal document management systems.
• Ability to multi-task, take initiative, and work efficiently in a remote setting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
