RN Electrophysiology Lab Nurse

Description:

The RN Electrophysiology Lab Nurse is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures. This role involves assisting in catheter ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator placements, and other advanced electrophysiology interventions.

The nurse will monitor patients during procedures, manage their recovery, and ensure the safe use of equipment. The position does not require on-call or weekend shifts, providing a predictable work schedule with occasional late shifts.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 3 years of experience in electrophysiology or cardiac care.
  • Expertise in assisting with electrophysiology procedures, including catheter ablations and device implants.
  • Proficient in patient monitoring during complex procedures.
  • Experience with electrophysiology lab equipment.
  • Strong communication skills for patient education and coordination with healthcare teams.
