Responsibilities:

The primary focus of the Associate Systems Analyst is to support the maintenance, analysis, and optimization of business systems, helping bridge the gap between Information Technology and the organization. The Associate Systems Analyst will assist in troubleshooting, system enhancements, and provide user support, while working closely with senior analysts, project teams, and business stakeholders to ensure system reliability and efficiency.

This role is ideal for candidates looking to develop their skills in systems analysis, process improvement, and technical problem-solving.

Essential Duties:

  • Assist with the day-to-day maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of core business systems.
  • Work closely with senior analysts to troubleshoot system issues and assist in resolving technical problems.
  • Support end-users by providing guidance and assistance on system functionality and resolving reported issues.
  • Help in gathering and documenting business requirements for system improvements and new functionality.
  • Assist in system testing and quality assurance to ensure that changes and enhancements meet user needs and business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business workflows and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide basic technical support to users, helping to ensure smooth system operations and functionality.
  • Help maintain system documentation, including user guides, technical procedures, and system configurations.
  • Learn and develop skills in business systems analysis, system integration, and process improvement under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Assist in executing system updates, patches, and configurations in alignment with organizational needs.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay up to date with system technologies and business practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, OR;
  • Associate’s degree with 1 year of relevant experience, OR;
  • 2 years of professional experience in systems support or a related technical field.
  • Basic experience in working with system administration, troubleshooting, or issue tracking systems.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced technical environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and collaborate with senior analysts in a team-oriented setting.
